Tips for surviving the parks
Number one Rule – Arrange place to meet if you get lost – Air tags are a good way to keep track of the kids
Make a plan – For two reasons, one you don’t miss anything and two to remember to have rest days.
Book your Disney parks days – You will not be allow into the parks without a park reservation
Individual Lightning Lane entry -Lightning Lane entry lets you bypass the standby queue and join a separate queue for select attraction and entertainment experiences. Some Lightning Lane entrances are offered through Disney Genie+ service. Other Lightning Lane entrances may be purchased individually – There maybe changes to this after 24th July 2024
Disney Genie + mobile app – This app shows queue times, show times. It will also show you where the characters are waiting to meet you. you can use this app to book our lighting lane. You can see you photos if you have memory maker. There maybe changes to this after 24th July 2024
Height Restrictions – Remember to check height to avoid disappointment and screaming children.
Rider Switcher – If you have a youngster or one parent who isn’t that keen on the rides you can use the rider switch.
Disney Springs – Is open later than the parks so why not take a trip and check out the restaurants and entertainment.
ID – Its best to have your ID on you if you want to purchase alcohol – Drinking age is over 21.
Character dinning –Is a great way to meet the characters and get autographs.
Footwear – Comfortable shoes are a must! Sandals keep you feet cool and they are light for the rides where your legs dangle. Remember your water shoes for the water parks. Drivers we recommend taking a change of shoes and sock if you get c ant in the rain.
Drinks – Free water fountains are located in most parks if not you can normally buy a cup which then refill for $1 on the day purchased. Refillable drinks can be a good idea, just watch out as in universal you can only fill up so many times in an hour. They are great for the water parks but currently not available in the Disney theme parks.
Opening hours of parks – These times can change depending on the time of year and private events
Seasonal Event – Extra events are put on at certain times of the year, check out individual parks websites
Vacation Guide – You can get these in some shops they sometimes have money off vouchers and information to new attractions and places to go.
