Volcano bay opened on May 27th, 2017. The park is based around a 200 feet (61 m) tall artificial volcano. The volcano houses three drop capsule slides, Ko’okiri Body Plunge, and the tallest body slide in America ranging at 125 feet tall. There are more than 20 waterslides at Volcano Bay for everyone’s adventure level. There’s even one that starts with a 70-degree fall through a trap door if you are brave enough.
If you fancy something a bit more relaxing float in the lazy river as your Tapu Tapu wearable waits in line for your next waterslide. If the lazy river is a little too lazy for you then jump in a tube and head down the fearless river complete with rapids and choppy waves.
