Blizzard beach opened on April 1, 1995, The Blizzard Beach mountain is 90 feet and the third highest point in the whole of Florida. All water areas are heated (at approximately 80 °F or 27 °C), except the melting snow in the ice cave of Cross Country Creek. The water park is based around an old ski resort where the snow has melted and the rides are based around the ski slides and the building are ski lodges.
Summit Plummet, is one of the tallest and fastest free-falling water slides in the entire world! There is even one water slide then takes you through a dolphin pool and if you are lucky will get to see one up close. Along with the slides, there is a lazy river and wave pool if you prefer a quieter day.
